I never imagined I'd ever be the one writing a message like this. I always pick a child off the tree to help and I never imagined I'd be on the other end. I always like to help people but I hate asking for help myself. I have to face the facts right now though and those facts are that I just can't do everything on my own. I was working full time and of course being a full time single mom to my 7 year old daughter. We have been struggling for quite a while but I was managing to make ends meet to have what we really needed. I was laid off 3 months ago and and now I can't take care of the things I need to. We even lost our apartment and have been living at a friend's house. I could go on and on telling you how bad it is but I'm not, instead I'm gonna get to the point. I have a beautiful 7 year old daughter who means the world to me and we're all each other has family wise and it kills me to know that right now I'm not able to provide her with everything she needs. She's such an angel and never complains about not having stuff or always getting used clothes or anything. She deserves so much and I wish I could give it to her. If there is someone out there that can help give my daughter a good Christmas please let me know. I'm not asking for money or anything for me. i just want her to wake up on Christmas morning and have some gifts. She deserves that, every child does. I have tried toys for tots and they turned us away because registration ended the last day of September. I'm sorry I'm asking y'all for help and I wouldn't if we didn't really need it. I'm begging please help my daughter have a good Christmas. God Bless

can someone PLEASE help my children for christmas adopt them for the holiday i have 3 a lttle girl that is 3 and will have another open heart surg in jan and a 4 year old boy with mixed devolp delays and a 16 year old boy that is a great role model

its very exciting to see positive people waiting on such huge miracle but yet at first they fit perfectly in the palm of your hand....and from there they will never be alone....hope all goes well, even tho u dont even know me was passin thru....

It seems very difficult to find someone without going through an agency. Adoption agencies charge $30-40K just because of the shortage of babies! These fees are unaffordable.
We have tried lots of avenues to find a birth-mom. Pregnancy Counseling centers often refer to adoption agencies only. We put our profile up on the internet (http://longingtoadopt.com) and got one email from a woman who apparently changed her mind.
I even put a sticker up in my car window telling people we're longing to adopt.
We even became licensed foster parents, but adoption through that route is very difficult - most likely, the child will be given back to its parents or relatives.
Any suggestions appreciated.

My husband & I are in the process of adopting. We have completed the home study and are just waiting for a birth mother to let us help her create a life plan. Any financial help you could donate would be truly appreciated.

Hi My name is Michaela I am looking for someone who want's to help make my 3 year old son christmas the best. Me and my hubby both have been unemployed for 5 monthe's and have no income at the moment. If it was not for my parents helping out we would have no Diapers, babywipes and necessities. It would be so nice to give aiden and the rest of the family a good christmas we have not had one in a long time. I am worried I may not be able to provied a nice christmas or thanksgiving for my family and it hurts me as a mother . Life is so tuff right now and I know it is for alot of other people out there as well. I pray evrey night that God will send us a angel to help my familey. We will take whatever you can give toliet paper,diapers,babywipe's,toys,food,shampooe,close exc..! I am just so blessed to have found this site. My heart also gose out to all the other family's in need and that wont have food or a place to stay this christmas I just want you all to know you are not alone. I understand how you all feel. Im sorry to ask for something else but i am wondering if there is anyone out there that would like to adopt a family for christmas as it is I am trying as hard as I can to catch up rent and pay other bills I am trying to make my kids things like hats mittens stuff of that nature but can't really get them anything so I was wondering if anyone out there would or could help.
